Beaded Bracelets
Description:
We are delighted to present these unique beaded bracelets, each a vibrant display of handwoven craftsmanship. Available in various styles, these bracelets are handcrafted by artisans from the small indigenous community in Santa Barbara, Honduras.
The symbols on the bracelets represent sacred geometry, often seen as the eyes of god. Each bracelet is believed to bring unconditional love and protection to its wearer. Consider setting a daily intention before wearing it to truly connect with the gemstone’s powerful energies. It is ideal for anyone looking to enhance their spiritual journey.
Each bracelet requires 2-3 weeks of meticulous work. Every piece features a symbol, reflecting the artisans' spiritual connection to divinity and the universe. During the crafting process, the artisans offer prayers and blessings, infusing each bracelet with deep cultural significance and positive energy. These bracelets can be worn to enhance any outfit or used as a meaningful gift that carries the essence of artisanal tradition.
Every purchase contributes directly to supporting the community, aiding in the expansion of their outreach and financial capacity. It is our priority to assist these communities by sharing and selling their exquisite and distinctive artwork.
Santa Barbara, Honduras, houses only a handful of indigenous communities. Thirty communities within the Department of Santa Barbara have reported populations of 100 or more Lenca Indians. These communities are distributed across six municipalities within Santa Barbara. Historical records indicate the presence of Lenca Indians in the colonial era within the department of Santa Barbara, often referred to as Care or Taulepa (meaning "house" or "cave of the jaguar" in Lenca, as evidenced by the place name Taulabé), or Ulúa Indians.
