Candle Making Workshop

During the class you will get to learn how to make a soy-free, paraffin-free, and chemical-free candle, that uses shea butter and wood wicks instead. You will have a variety of flowers, crystals, and scents to choose from to make your own unique creation.

We use only natural, pure plant-based scents, shea butter, and candelilla wax to make the candles as there are harmful effects to burning soy wax and paraffin wax in the house.

Most candles are scented with fragrance which is toxic to breathe. We go into depth about why burning fragrance candles is not good for our health and what fragrance is really made of.

That's why you'll be making a candle using only 100% pure, plant-based essential oils that have been distilled and smell amazing!

You get to pour the base into a real coconut shell bowl that comes directly from a small family farm in a small Pueblo in Guerrero, Mexico where the families hand shave & hand polish the coconut shell bowls for us, which otherwise would go to waste.

You'll get a large coconut bowl to make your candle with and take home at the end of the workshop! After you burn the candle you can clean the bowl and reuse it to eat out of as well.

We will also offer wine and herbal teas throughout the night.

Its a great learning experience and a lot of fun at the same time!
