Description:

This Premium Raw African Black Soap is made by indigenous women's hands in Ghana from a traditional African recipe & techniques that have been passed down for many generations. It does not contain any artificial fragrances. We source directly from the village and support the women and their families. All profits from each bar purchased goes towards improving the livelihoods of the Ghanian villagers families and children.

Premium Raw African Black Soaps helps deep clean your hair and works on most hair types including rough and dry hair or sensitive hair. It helps clear skin bumps and spots, helps relieve acne, oily skin, and other skin problems. It helps with acne or dark spot. It is also great for removing makeup.

African traditional black soap is one of the most beneficial yet unheard of soaps you will ever find. Made from dried plantain skins, palm leaves, cocoa pod powder, and kernel oil for an all-natural cleansing process. Plantains skins are largely what make this soap so effective. Plantain is a fruit that grows in Africa & South America that looks similar to a banana, except it is much larger and tastes altogether different. You can find plantains at many ethnic or international grocery stores. It is a natural source of vitamins A & E and iron. When black soap is made, the skin of the plantain is gingerly dried to a precise texture under the sun. Afterwards it is roasted in a clay oven. The heat must be constant in order to achieve the perfect brownish black color, texture & smell. Afterwards, cocoa pod powder is added. Cocoa pod is the shell of the cocoa fruit and also has natural healing properties.

The next process is very precise because if it is not done properly, with the correct ingredients, there will be no soap. The roasted plantain skin is mixed with palm oil and palm kernel oil to form the soap. The roasted plantains determine the color of the soap. The longer the plantains are roasted, the darker the soap

Ingredients

100% Pure African Black Soap from a small family village in Ghana, Africa

Directions

Apply water to bar, rub around, create lather in hands, until foam starts coming onto the bar. Then massage foam lather onto face, body & hair. Massage for about 3-5 minutes. Rinse with warm water. Due to its natural properties, you can also use to wash your whole body & face. Since this is RAW African Black Soap, do not rub or apply the soap directly on the skin and face. This soap may contain small particles of plantains that could scratch or cause irritation. Lather soap in washcloth, sponge, or loofah and apply to face, body, or hair.

Beware

I had to wash my hair 3 times to get rid of the awful sticky film this soap leaves on your hair. As well as the shower. It just sticks to your hair.finally after washing rinsing the 3rd time I poured apple cider vinegar on hair and washed again to get the film off my hair so it wouldn't be sticky mess. It said African soap?? But insert card said Amazon so I have no clue about the real actual ingredients sourced. Perhaps a bad batch? I really want to stop using plastic bottles and only bar soap but this is not a product for people with longer hair. Maybe super short but still who wants sticky hair. It also has no fresh smell more of a dirt smell. Just be careful. Some folks have sensitive skin and hair. I didn't use the oil it was a bunch of different oils not argon and I worried about my heat appliances catching my hair on fire. Sorry I cannot support this product.

Throw out the conditioner

I'm 71 and need conditioner every time I wash my hair due to major oiliness. I used the shampoo bar and now my hair is easy to brush through right out of the shower...no conditioning! My hair feels fantastic and healthy! I'm telling everyone about this product line.
Thanks Lana!
